Valen ENVIROX-CEL+ front terminal batteries are advanced carbon AGM batteries built for hot, demanding standby sites. They come in 12V 100Ah, 170Ah and 190Ah, are type approved by Transport for NSW for rail signalling, and have a 15-year design life.
Faster Recharge and Longer Float Life
ENVIROX-CEL+ is a deep cycle VRLA battery. Its active material blends advanced graphitic carbon with carbon black, so it recharges faster and stays efficient where conventional AGM batteries struggle. The carbon also gives a very long float life, with a 15-year standby design life backed by tightly controlled manufacturing and in-house testing. Each battery is rated for standby temperatures up to 65°C and has a shock-resistant, flame-retardant case. That suits roadside cabinets, remote sites and enclosures that run hot.

The slimline front terminal design fits straight into 19-inch racking. Each battery comes with a terminal protection cover, insulated intercell links and ventilation holes for optional external venting. The batteries are maintenance free and can be installed in any position except inverted, so they suit tight or hard-to-reach spaces and need fewer site visits. The range is type approved by Transport for NSW (TA 8045.1:2025) for no-break and standby DC power supply systems in rail signalling. It is also FAA and IATA approved for air transport and widely used in UPS, communications, data centre, mining and solar applications.
