The trailer is manufactured in New South Wales’ central west and the system is assembled and tested at Valen’s facility at Lawson, NSW, using a 350-grade high-tensile Australian milled steel chassis with 6 mm checker plate aluminium deck plating. The chassis is FEA tested and engineered before manufacture. Valen Power is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, certified.
We answer this because the useful version of the answer is operational rather than patriotic. On a deployable asset that will spend its life on unsealed roads and remote sites, local manufacture means four practical things:
- The people who built it can support it
- Spares come from an Australian holding, not a shipping container
- A chassis or suspension repair is a local job
- Warranty is administered by the entity that supplied the unit, not routed offshore For an asset whose whole value proposition is availability, that is the difference between a week of downtime and a day.
