When a complete system shut down is not an option, the RE856 will test a range of batteries instantaneously and without the need for disconnecting them! This is the ideal tester for small to high voltage battery maintenance inspections, Telecommunications and other Emergency Back-up Applications. It’s also especially handy for installations in remote areas!
The highly sophisticated RE856 will test any battery between 1.5 to 60VDC with capacities up to 1200Ah – this gives you the ability to test each battery cell or a complete string up to 60VDC!
The RE856 Battery Impedance Tester will test the following battery technologies:

The RE856 allows the user to simultaneously measure open-circuit voltage, internal resistance, current and terminal temperature while the battery is still connected and operating. This offers peace of mind to the technician who needs to test quickly, accurately and above all else, safely.
The RE856 includes a data logging function for monitoring battery condition over a set period in real-time. A built-in comparator allows the user to store up to 99 sets of various battery types for testing and analysis.
