The Valen GEL 6V225Ah Battery features a rechargeable, deep cycle, Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) battery. Gel technology varies from its AGM counterpart because the electrolyte is suspended in Thixotropic Silica Gel, unlike the AGM batteries where the electrolyte is suspended in the Absorbent Glass Mat. Genuine Gel technology gives the Valen Gel range an edge over its competition by extending the longevity of the battery and minimising the number of cycles the battery requires to reach its full capacity.
