Valen supports outright purchase and rent-to-buy. Which suits you depends on how the asset will be funded and how heavily it will be used, talk to us about the structure that works for your situation.
The buy-versus-rent logic, if you are weighing it up:
Rent-to-buy suits an organisation that needs the capability now but wants the cost spread, or one that is standing up a deployable power capability for the first time and wants to prove the operating model before committing capital. It also suits a programme with a defined funding cycle where capital and operating budgets sit in different places.
Outright purchase makes sense once utilisation exceeds roughly a quarter of the year, where response time matters, a shared or hired unit is only available if it is not already out, or where the asset needs to be integrated into your SCADA and operating procedures rather than treated as generic plant.
For emergency-response use specifically, either structure works, but the asset needs to be yours and staged, because the one thing that does not work is trying to source a deployable power system during the event everyone else is also responding to.
